What B-Roll does

B-Roll takes a talking video and your own material — images, clips, charts, screenshots, a whole zip of them — and works out where each piece belongs. It reads what is actually being said, then places your footage against the words that call for it, rather than dropping cutaways on a timer and hoping.

Where you have nothing suitable, it proposes generated visuals for the gap instead of leaving it or padding with stock that does not match. Everything it proposes is a proposal: you approve, swap, move or drop each placement before anything renders. Nothing lands in your video unseen.

What can I use as B-roll?
Images, video clips, charts and screenshots — uploaded individually or as a zip. The point is that it works from the material you already have rather than a generic stock library.
How does it decide where each clip goes?
It reads the speech, then matches your materials to the moments that call for them, so a chart lands on the sentence about the number and a product shot lands on the product. Placement is argued from what is being said, not spaced on a timer.
What happens where I have no footage for a point?
It proposes a generated visual for that gap. Like every other placement it is a proposal you approve, swap or remove — the alternative would be leaving a hole or padding with stock that does not match.
Can I change the placements before it renders?
Yes, and you should. Every placement is reviewable and editable — approve, swap, move or drop — before the render runs, and the finished video still opens in the Clip Editor afterwards.
