Blur in BudgetPixel Studio

How it works

  1. 1

Upload a video, or paste a link to one.

  2. 2

Tap whatever has to disappear — a face, a plate, a logo, a screen — or let it find the faces for you.

  3. 3

Each one is tracked frame by frame as the shot moves, so it stays hidden. Scrub the result to check every gap, then export.

What Blur does

Blur hides anything in a video that should not be identifiable and keeps it hidden as the shot moves. Tap a face, a licence plate, a logo or a screen — or let it find the faces for you — and it is tracked frame by frame for the whole clip rather than keyframed by hand at the start and hoped through the rest.

The failure mode with manual blurring is the gap: three frames where the subject turns and the mask slides off a jaw, which is exactly the moment someone screenshots. So the result is scrubable before export, and you check the whole thing rather than trusting the first second.

Useful for anything filmed in public, user-submitted footage, screen recordings with real data in them, and anywhere a face belongs to someone who did not agree to be in your video.

Blur questions

Does the blur follow a moving subject?
Yes. Each region you mark is tracked frame by frame through the clip, so it stays on the face or plate as the shot pans and the subject turns, instead of being pinned to one position.
Can it find faces automatically?
It can. Let it detect the faces for you, or tap exactly what has to disappear when the target is a plate, a logo, a screen or one specific person in a crowd.
What can I hide besides faces?
Licence plates, logos, screens and monitors, documents — anything you can point at. If you can tap it, it can be tracked and hidden.
How do I know nothing slipped through?
Scrub the result before you export. The whole clip is reviewable, which matters because the frames where tracking is hardest are the ones a manual pass tends to miss.
